I admit that at the beginning The Apprentice Witch seemed a little slow, but throughout the story it got better and better! I was mesmerised by the story and the main character Arianwyn.  She starts out insecure in the beginning of the book, but further into the book she becomes self-reliant, brave and makes some friends along the way. What’s so special about this book is the mysterious plot line which keeps you wanting to read more and more! The book has lots of surprises. The surprises make the book what it is. I would recommend this book to any kid or adult that loves mysteries and magic. This book is awesome, and I  totally give it a thumbs up!
